When you choose Calabria as destination of your trip, the risk is always to be beautifully surprised.
When you choose Calabria as destination of your trip, the risk is always to be beautifully surprised.
This is what it’s happened to Madame and Monsieur Wanner, 2 wonderful people from Swiss who trusted in us, Le Vie della Perla T.O., for the organization of 2 weeks tour in Calabria to discovering traditions, culture, food and wine.
They asked us just one thing: “We wish to travel at our pace, slowly, for enjoying fully all your activities and sightseeing! (Découverte et relax – Discovering and relax)
Here you are the brief tale about their rememberings and emotions of their individual tour in Calabria:
(“Two weeks for visiting a piece of Calabria.
The first thing that we keep with us of our trip is the cheerful hospitality of people. The organization of the tour was meticulously developed by LE VIE della PERLA, who speaks French, too. The meeting with breeders and growers, who were happy to show their skills, warmed our hearts. So we learned to make the handmade pasta, to recognize the aromatic herbs, to share the problems of the organic olive oil production, to taste it with a huge aperitif with typical products.
A wonderful surprise was another tasting with local products among the mulberry trees.
All these people had left their high level job in order to come back their land. What a magnificent philosophy!
All these activities were joined to the sightseeing of wonderful hamlets set on the top of the mounts, with churches and museums which were opened just for us. Without forgetting National Parks.
Calabria, which is surrounded by the sea, offers a good road network and an attractive inland still little visited by the Italian tourists themselves.
Although we did not understand that the slightest part of what they said, the language is so musical that it has rocked us.)
Signora e Signore Wanner”
This is what it means “travelling in a land where the hospitality is felt and is not an obligation!”
