Arrive in Camigliatello Silano, a touristic mountain place in Sila National Park. Dinner and overnight at 3* hotel.

Transfer to Fossiata area (1,200 mt a.s.l. and guided walk to Alboreto dei Sbanditi (1,300 mt a.s.l.) in Sila National Park. Passing through a huge beechwood, we arrive to the Macchialonga plateau and continue until Serra Ripollata (1,682 mt). Then we arrive to the Cozzo del Principe (1,600 mt) where you can glimpse Cecita Lake and come back to the Fossiata. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

- Ascent altitude changes of up to 445 mt – Descent altitude changes of up to 411 mt - Difficutly: Advanced - Duration 6 hours - Breakfast at the hotel. The Starting point is the San Nicola Silvana Mansio Railway Station which is the highest among the narrow gauge stations in Europe(1,400 mt a.s.l.): we walk through woods and viewpoints until reaching Ariamacina lake, natural oasis which is chosen by migratory birds for their stop along their trip, and we continue up to Volpintesta Mount (1,729 mt a.s.l.). Then we come back to San Nicola Silvana Mansio again. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

- Ascent altitude changes of up to 563 mt – Descent altitude changes of up to 525 mt - Difficutly: Advanced - Duration 6/7 hours - Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the rural village Croce di Magara (1,365 mt a.s.l.) for visiting the Fallistro Natural Reserve (1,436 mt a.s.l.) which has became FAI heritage (Italian Environment Foundation), one of the oldest wood in Italy with over than 50 larch pines: they are more than 400 years old with a height up to 45 mt and for this reason called “The Giants of the Sila”. Then we continue to Botte Donato Mount (1,928 mt a.s.l., the highest in Sila) and go down to Carlomagno in the Lorica area (1,500 mt), where usually in winter people go for the cross country skiing. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

- Ascent altitude changes of up to 515 mt – Descent altitude changes of up to 581 mt - Difficutly: Advanced - Duration: 6 hours - Breakfast at the hotel. Starting from the rural village Cagno (405 mt a.s.l.), in the Municipality of San Giovanni in Fiore, we follow a path with a young pinewood, then beeches, poplar and white fir trees which are alternate to wide clearings. We continue to the top of Montenero, the second highest one in Sila National Park (1,881 mt a.s.l.) where is a breathtaking panorama over Arvo Lake and the San Giovanni in Fiore village. Come back to the hotel: dinner and overnight.
