Arrive in 4* hotel in Reggio Calabria and overnight.

At the end a sightseeing tour along the famous promenade, described by Italian writer D’Annunzio as “the best kilometer in Italy”, you can admire beautiful magnolias hundreds of years old and take in a view of Sicily across the water. In the afternoon visit the abandoned village, Pentedattilo, so called because of its location on a mountain shaped like the five fingers of the hand (Pentedattilo from the Greek meaning “five fingers”). Transfer to Gerace and overnight at Agriturismo.

Breakfast. An half day at the agriturismo where you can see how “ricotta” is made. You visit, also, its extensive vineyard whose wine has received awards. In the afternoon sightseeing of The Cattolica of Stilo, which is a small 9th-century temple imitating a classic Byzantine church in its square Greek cross design, with three apses facing the east and five small domes. Here the monks of St. Basil (Basilians), who had found refuge from persecution in Calabria, pursued their ideals of poverty and detachment from worldly concerns. At the end, transfer to Cirò and overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast. Visit of one of the best vineyard at Cirò and taste some wine. In the afternoon sightseeing of Crotone, one of the most important place of the Magna Grecia, which was founded by the Achei and well known as Pitagora’s town. Overnight at hotel in Cirò.

Breakfast. Sightseeing of Santa Severina, a little village situated on the top of the mountain with its wonderful castle. Then you go to Camigliatello, a touristic place in Sila National Park, where you can breathe the purest air in Europe. Along the main street there are several shops of typical products to taste. Overnight at hotel in Cosenza.

Breakfast. Sightseeing of the beautiful historical centre of Cosenza and of the Open Air Museum MAB where there are several statues by important artists such as De Chirico, Dalì, Manzù etc. Then visit a local vineyard with tasting wine. In the afternoon departure to Alberobello, in Apulia. Overnight at the typical “Trulli”, round white stone houses with characteristic conical roofs.

Breakfast. In the morning visit to a vineyard in Locorotondo, a little village near Alberobello which is a member of the club “I Borghi più belli d’Italia” (The Most Beautiful Villages of Italy) and assumes a circular shape. Here you can taste 3 different wines with some typical Apulian products. A brief walk in the historical centre of Locorotondo to admire this typical village. In the afternoon visit to Alberobello, famous for there only being “trulli” in the old part. Overnight in Trullo.

Breakfast. In the morning you visit a vineyard which is in a Castle, a huge farm in a good position boasting wonderful panoramas and tasting wine experience. In the afternoon sightseeing of Ostuni, which is known as the White City due to the colour of its houses. Overnight at Trullo.

Breakfast. Sightseeing of Grotte di Castellana, with caves extending to depths of 60 meters deep all set in an amazing scenario made of stalactites, stalagmites, concretions, incredible shapes, fossils, canyons and caves with fantastic names. Than transfer to Gioia del Colle to visit a vineyard with its modern wine cellar and a traditional stone-built tasting space. The cellar has been created in the living rock and reaches a maximum depth of 8 meters below the surface. Tasting wines. In the afternoon, transfer to hotel convenient to departure point and overnight.
